About the workshop
How we run the workshop
Since we first opened our doors we've been Annandale's local independent mechanic. Three decades later we're still looking after our neighbours' cars.
We run this shop the way good mechanics always used to. We will never sell you something you don't need. We will always call you before we do any work. We will explain every problem in plain English, not technical jargon. And if something goes wrong with work we have done, we will fix it, no arguments.
We don't spend money on fancy advertising or flashy waiting rooms. We spend it on good tools, good parts, and paying good people properly. All of our work is guaranteed, and all of our prices are quoted up front.
Who's under the bonnet. Our small team of mechanics, first Phil, then Pete, now Pete, Gunna and Louie, have over 35 years' combined hands-on experience, working on everything from old carburettor utes to the latest hybrid and electric vehicles.
Most of our customers have been with us for years, and many since the start. They come to us because they don't want to have to worry about their car. They know when we say it's fixed, it's fixed.

Servicing, inspections and repairs, on all makes and models
Same-day service is available, and most jobs are finished the day they come in. A standard service starts at $330. Everything is quoted before we start, and the bill you get at the end is itemised job by job.

Serviced to the manufacturer's exact specifications, with your logbook stamped and your service reminder reset. Your new-car warranty stays intact.

Your eSafety check done here and lodged electronically with Transport for NSW. $52 for a light vehicle, the maximum fee the state sets.

You don't have to service a new car at the dealer to keep its warranty
It's the thing we get asked most. What matters is how the car is serviced, and whether the work meets the conditions a dealer is entitled to insist on.
We service to the manufacturer's exact specifications, using genuine or appropriate quality parts and approved oils, carried out by qualified motor mechanics with current diagnostic equipment. We stamp the book and reset the reminder. Your warranty stays intact, without the dealership price tag.
What the ACCC says
Motor vehicle dealers are entitled to insist that servicing is carried out by qualified staff, according to the manufacturer's specifications, and using genuine or appropriate quality parts where required. Provided those conditions are met, your warranty remains intact regardless of where you choose to have the car serviced.

Heading east on Parramatta Road, turn left ten metres before the traffic lights at Pyrmont Bridge Road. We're near the Annandale Hotel, about a kilometre from RPA.
