How a repair works here
Here's the order it happens in, from the phone call to the bill.
- You ring and book a time. Tell us what the car's doing and roughly when it started. Drop it in at 208 Parramatta Road, Annandale, entrance on Mathieson Street.
- We find the fault. Qualified motor mechanics look at it, with the workshop's engine diagnostic equipment behind them where the fault calls for it. A warning light on the dash usually starts as a diagnostic job.
- We ring you with a quote. What we found, what it takes to fix and what it comes to, in plain words. Nothing has been done to the car at this point.
- You decide. Say yes, say no, or ask us to do part of it now and leave the rest for the next visit. Work starts only once you've agreed.
- We do the job. Seat covers, floor mats and guard covers go on first. If we find something else while we're in there, you get another call before we touch it.
- You get an itemised bill. Every job we did and every part we used, listed out, so you can see what you paid for.
If your rego is due about the same time, the eSafety check can go in the same visit, and so can a logbook service. That way the car is with us once.
How we work
Nothing starts until you've said yes to the price
We ring you with what we found and what it takes to put right. You decide what gets done. If you'd sooner leave part of it for the next visit, say so and we'll work around it.
All work performed and new parts used are guaranteed. If something we've done goes wrong, bring the car back and we'll fix it.
Qualified motor mechanics do the work. Where a job calls for a specialist, it goes to an accredited specialist the workshop already works with, and you still deal with us.
What you can expect
- A quote you agree to before any work starts
- An itemised bill listing every job and every part
- Parts, oil and lubricants that meet the manufacturer's standards and haven't been used before
- Second-hand parts only if you ask for them
- Seat covers, floor mats and guard covers, every time
- Problems explained in plain words, not jargon
