Fleet and business servicing

Utes, vans and cars that have to be back on the road, looked after by the same workshop every time.

If your vehicles are how the work gets done, servicing is a scheduling problem as much as a mechanical one. We look after utes, vans and cars for local businesses, whether that’s one vehicle or a handful. Every job is quoted before it starts, and you get a call before anything is done.

What fleet servicing covers

  • Logbook servicing on newer vehicles, so a manufacturer’s warranty stays intact
  • General servicing, oil changes, filters and fluid flushes on everything else
  • eSafety checks (pink slips) as registrations fall due
  • Brakes, steering and suspension, tyres, batteries and auto electrical
  • Transmission, clutch, engine, cooling, exhaust and diesel work, including DPF cleaning
  • Air conditioning service, repair and regas

What a fleet service involves

A service on a work vehicle is the same job as a service on anybody’s car, done to the manufacturer’s schedule for its age and kilometres. Oil and filters, fluids, brakes, tyres, lights and a look underneath. Anything worn gets reported while it’s still a small job.

What changes with a fleet is everything around the service. Vehicles come due at different times, registrations fall due at different times, and it’s easy for one to slip. Our system can track when a registration is due, so the check and the service can go in the same visit.

Same-day service is available and most jobs are finished the day they come in. When you book, say when you need the vehicle back so we can plan around it.

Every vehicle gets the same treatment as a private car. A quote before the work starts, a phone call if we find something else, and an itemised bill at the end that goes straight into the books.

Rego renewals and pink slips

Registration is the deadline that catches businesses out, because it lands one vehicle at a time. The eSafety check is done here and lodged electronically with Transport for NSW, and it can be scheduled as part of a service so the vehicle is off the road once. The fees and what gets checked are on the pink slips page.

What to tell us when you book

Ring us with what the vehicles are, how they’re used and when each one is due. A van doing short city runs wears differently to a ute towing on the highway, and that changes what we watch for. If a vehicle has a fault that comes and goes, tell us what it does and when it does it.

Questions about fleet servicing

How many vehicles make a fleet?

There’s no minimum number. One work ute gets looked after the same way as five vans. What matters is that the same workshop sees them each time and knows their history.

Can you service to the logbook so the warranty holds?

Yes. Logbook servicing is carried out to the manufacturer’s specifications, the book gets stamped and the service reminder reset. There is more on the logbook servicing page.

Do you handle repairs as well as servicing?

Both, and where the work allows, in the same visit. Brakes, steering and suspension, auto electrical, transmission and clutch, engine and cooling, exhaust and diesel, tyres, batteries and air conditioning are all done here. The full list is on mechanical repairs.

Do you work on diesels and 4WDs?

Yes. Diesel servicing, DPF cleaning and 4WD servicing are part of the normal run of work here, on all makes and models.

Detailed and itemised billing clearly explaining all work performed and parts used.
